Smoke & Pickles has been called the best cookbook of the year by Amazon and on July 12th, Chef Edward Lee will be signing his new cook book at City Grit in SoHo. Lee was a contenstent on Top Chef and is a three-time James Beard Award finalist. For Smoke & Pickles, Lee took his knowledge of Korean cuisine and smashed it together with the tastes of the American South for some seriously tantalizing comfort food bites. Guests get to taste recipes straight out of Smoke & Pickles at the signing as well including curry pork pies, lime beef salad and pulled-pork barbecue, as well as unlimited Singha Beer and a signed copy of Lee’s cookbook for $75.
