CHELSEA USA SUMMER TOUR

Chelsea’s USA Summer Tour will have the current UEFA Champions League champs playing across four cities in July. Their first stop will be in the beautiful Northwest as Chelsea takes on the Seattle Sounders FC, who have won the U.S. Open Cup the past three years, on July 18th. This will be Chelsea’s fifth time playing in front of a Seattle crowd, the first time dating back to 1967 at Memorial Stadium. Next, the Blues head to The Big Apple and square off against Paris Saint-Germain at Yankee Stadium on July 22nd. It will be the first time Chelsea has played a game in NYC since 1954 and you can bet the Bronx will be buzzing with excitement. Then it’s off to the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, to take on the MLS All-Stars in front of a sold out crowd on July 25th. The last time Chelsea played against the MLS All-Stars they fell short, losing 1-0, in 2006. But with the momentum of winning the Champions League, the boys in Blue are sure to come out of the tunnel with revenge in mind. The USA Summer Tour will wrap up in another championship city as Chelsea plays familiar rivals AC Milan at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on July 28th. It will be Chelsea’s first time playing in Florida and the 75,540 capacity stadium will be a sight to behold when Blue Lions take to the pitch.
